So, new Audial AYA DAC is coming. Inside, the AYA III uses the most of the AYA II solutions, but it comprises an S/PDIF input only. Outside, it more resembles the Model S design. The AYA III will be available in aluminum/silver finish.
Release is scheduled for the upcoming week. So, watch this place and don’t miss the opportunity to get your own sample at introducing promotional price.
Audial interconnect cable iCon.S is not regularly available anymore.
On demand, it can be still purchased with Audial D/A converters though. Please, ask for details.

New Audial reference S/PDIF digital-to-analog converter, Model S, is now officially released.

The Model S preliminary information has been posted to the www.audialonline.com/html/model-s/.
The Model S release is scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
During October The Model will be replaced by the Model S.
The Model S will comprise 75 Ohm S/PDIF (BNC) input only (well, two of them now, actually).
The Model S will preserve the overall architecture of the previous Model. It will however also bring a couple of improvements, setting the new standard in high quality natural reproduction from the digital source.
As for the USB front end, since in practice it turned out to perform somewhat inferior to the S/PDIF one (please see the article on this topic, released in March this year), work on improving existing USB solution is in progress. It is still too early to talk about actual device(s) employing results of this work, but it should come in a couple of months.
For the time being, the AYA II will remain the only Audial DAC with USB front end.
