"The designer of The Model has managed to bring ones and zeros back to a live stream of energy."
- Velja Mijanovic, mastering engineer [ read more ]

The Model itself didn't come that easy though. Having the goal of pure and involving music from the digital sources, for quite good reasons and despite of their excellent static performance often considered to perform mechanically and unmusically, many solutions which usually can not be seen in the industrial mainstream had to be applied.

The Model employs practically unique power supply comprising multiple filtering stages, and which includes internal isolating balanced AC power transformer. The digital part of The Model doesn't employ any kind of over- or up-sampling, while its analog output circuits work in the class A and don't use a global feedback. Extremely serious work has been done on the layout, since it is an important contributor to the overall result.

The Model doesn't comprise capacitors at signal path. Both RCA and XLR outputs are normally coupled by vanishingly low distortion, high bandwidth transformers but The Model can be delivered also with directly coupled RCA output.

On the input side it supports S/PDIF and USB interfaces, so it can be used not only like a part of the highest class conventional audio systems, but it also makes possible to turn conventional PC into the real high performance audio source.

The Model is the long term tweaked device, and it is tweaked both on ears and by engineering means, as well as by common sense. It is a low volume series, a hand built product, and is built of very high quality parts. Hence it is both a value impossible to beat in its price range, and strong contender to the absolute top.
