Model S: Making a serious listening easy
Audial proudly presents the Model S, reference D/A converter, which retains all the advanced features of its predecessor launched in May 2007, and bringing several improvements. The result is a new level in multibit D/A converter performance, and new reference in natural music reproduction achieved by the digital audio source. The Model S is state of the art D/A converter, the outcome of six years of dedicated designing with TDA1541A D/A chip.
The Model S comprises two S/PDIF inputs, and two pairs of analog outputs. Regularly one pair of single end (RCA) and one pair of balanced (XLR) outputs are fitted, but on demand two RCA or two XLR outputs can be supplied instead.
The Model S also employs:
● Advanced clocking scheme for TDA1541A converter chip
● Novel hybrid output stage without feedback yet with top level linearity (0.002% THD)
● Transformer coupled output
● Isolating mains transformer with split secondary ("balanced AC power")
● Nine independent supply lines, each with three stage passive common mode filtering and zero feedback low noise regulators
● A highest quality parts
● Engraved solid aluminum chassis
● Each sample of the Model S is supplied with its own lab report.
