So, the S5(b) transformer-coupled XLR output can connect to any amplifier RCA input, by using the following wiring scheme. The GND connection is optional and should comply with the general rules for transformer-coupled interconnection, as explained in this article.

However, please note that this is not the general scheme for any XLR output connection to the RCA input, but only for floating, transformer-coupled output, such as the one used in the Audial S DAC series. Otherwise, you are at risk of frying the output stage, or at least its negative pole, unless it is protected from short.
