* - Because most of the S/PDIF cables are still equipped with RCA plugs, the Model S is for compatibility reasons supplied with RCA (female) to BNC (male) adapter. This adapter is supposedly not a long term solution, but only a help while testing the cables. For regular use, it is highly recommend to use the real 75 Ohm BNC plug.
