Anyone using s5 DAC with J-River Media Center ?
I get the DAC to show up in Sound and choose it, However it will not allow me to select a Bit rate / depth. It is hard set at 24 / 44.1 I can set J-River to use the Audial as my Output device (WASAPI). When I try to play a file I get an error message stating It cannot play at 44.1 / 16............I have come across this issue in the past with other DACs. I was always able to change the Bit Rate in the sound file on the PC to match what was available in J-River. Playback was then allowed. I looked for the Windows drivers here but they elude me & the ones I did find would not allow me to download them...............Any advice appreciated
I have not used JRiver before, but I might give it a try in the next few days and see how it behaves with Audial DACs.
In the meantime, we have granted access to your account so you can download the Audial Windows USB drivers on the S5 page and check if it helps.

I do appreciate the response & Permissions unfortunately its quite difficult finding the link to the drives. Could you please provide a link to the location one finds the drivers

Found the links, Downloaded ver. 1.29 and the S5 is currently playing with J-River Via USB
